A MIXED UP WORLD
We're living in a mixed up world
When black and white means gray;
When down means up and up means down,
When night seems just like day.
When good is bad and bad is good,
When no one's living as they should;
"If it feels good, do it," seems to be
The motto of the day, agree?
When no one says just what they mean;
When no one means just what they say
Confusion is a normal scene . . .
Whatever "normal" really means!
When "Reality's what you perceive."
Is it fantasy that you believe?
When there's no such thing as wrong or right;
When light is dark and dark is light.
"Sin" is just an ugly word
That once upon a time was heard;
When God is everything I see
Including man, both you and me!
When I decide my destiny,
I'm all that matters, don't you see?

WHO ARE YOU?
Beware of Mr. Worldly Wise
Who has more brains than heart;
When he uses words a mile long-
You'll feel inferior to him from the start.
And then there's Mr. Businessman
For money is his life;
Nothing's more important to him
At the expense of his kids and wife.
Next, comes Ms. Fame and Fortune-
Popularity's her game;
She'll do whatever she has to do
To reach the pinnacle of fame.
And let's not forget Mr. Pleasure-
"If it feels good, do it" is his goal;
Mortality's an old-fashioned word
As to the devil he sells his soul.
Next, meet Miss Self-Sufficiency-
She has only to look within
To realize that "she is really god"
And denies there is evil or sin!
And last, but not least, meet Ms. Christian
Who humbly seeks Jesus each day;
Saved from her sin through the gift of His grace
And believes He is the only way.
Now, how about you...who are you?
Do you see yourself in this rhyme?
My prayer is you'll realize Jesus is God
And trust Him while there is still time.

THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S
When abominations become admirable,
When sin has become obsolete;
When being a Christian's offensive,
We must not go down in defeat!
When everything we believe in
Is ridiculed by the elite;
It's a call for us to take action-
We are not going down in defeat!
When evil seems to be winning,
When we wonder how we can compete;
We must remember "The Battle is the Lord's"
And we'll never go down in defeat!
