Love

I LOVE THEM

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
When they feel so all alone.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
That my love for them I've shown.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
As on the cross I died.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
That in Me they must abide.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
And they never need to fear.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
That I always am right here.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
When discouragement sets in.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
That I the victory did win.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
That I'm coming back some day.

TELL THEM I LOVE THEM
I'm the truth, the life, the way.

THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER

Oh, the love of our Father
Reaching down to us from above;
A love beyond understanding-
Sacrificial, unconditional love.

A love full of compassion,
Longsuffering and merciful too;
A love that's perfect in all ways
Reaching down to me and you.

Yes, we have a heavenly Father
Who cares so deeply for us;
Who's interested in every detail-
Who hears when we cry and fuss.

He's our Father who's ready to help us,
Who will comfort us in distress;
Who thinks about us both day and night,
Who is always willing to bless.

Our earthly father cannot compare
To our perfect Father in heaven;
He is our heavenly parent
To us eternal life has given.

He loves us so much that He died for us all
And our sins He does forgive;
And I praise Him and thank Him for I know
In my heart He now does live.

If your earthly father does fail you
In any number of ways:
If he hurts you by the things he does,
Or by the words he says . . .

Just remember your Father in heaven
Knows only what's best for you;
He will never leave nor forsake you
For His love is eternal and true.

HIS LOVE

Beneath the weeping willow tree-
I met my Jesus there;
He filled me with His love and joy,
He took my every care.
He dried my tears and told me
That His love is ever true:
That He'd never, ever leave me
No matter what I say or do.
He is my ever faithful friend-
He is my everything!
He took away my cloud of gloom-
He gave me a song to sing.

PROVE YOU ARE MINE

Just as I teach you-
You should teach others;
You teaching others
Will prove you are mine.

Just as I forgive you-
You forgive others;
You forgiving others
Will prove you are mine.

Just as I serve you-
You should serve others;
You serving others
Will prove you are mine.

Just as I love you-
You should love others;
You loving others
Will prove you are mine.

HANDS

There are many kinds of people
And it's not hard to understand
You can tell a lot about them
Just by looking at their hands:

There are hands that shake and tremble
And you'll probably agree
That they tremble for a reason-
They are worriers, you see.

There are hands so rough and worn
From them it's plain to see
That they're used to working hard,
Do they belong to you or me?

There are hands that are all gnarled with age
Who lived a lifetime through;
And helped others 'cause they weren't afraid
To see what they could do.

But, there's only one pair of hands I know
That tell quite a story, you'll see . . .
These hands are like no one else's
For what they did for you and me:

These are hands that fed the multitude,
And healed the lepers too;
These are hands that held the children-
Signs and miracles did do.

But these hands are just as gentle
And as warm as they can be;
And these hands are sacrificial
For they nailed them to a tree . . .

For one thing I didn't mention
About these special hands-
That there's nail-wounds clearly visible
And now you understand . . .

That these hands belong to Jesus
And He loves you very much.
Could it be you're one of many
Who still need the Master's touch?
